At Pacific Western Brewing, quality is not just a word it is a value that drives everything we do. 

In everything we do, we strive to bring you and our customers around the world the very best beer we can make. 

At our brewery we start with the finest raw ingredients; Northern Pure Spring Water, and the finest malted barley and hops.  Then, utilizing the recipes that have been time tested for over fifty years, our brewing craftsmen begin the process of creating the golden nectar we know as beer. Our Brewers take their lead from our Brewery Manager who has been a fixture in the brewery since 1969. He has transferred his craft, that he developed over decades, to our current brewmaster who is now entrusted with crafting the beers you have come to know and love, and to develop new beers to satisfy the tastes of customers around the world.

In fact the achievements of our brewing craftsmen were recently recognized with a Gold Medal at the Brewing Industry International Awards - known in the industry as the Oscars of the Brewing Industry. In fact over the 119 year history of this award, our brewers are the only Canadians to have been awarded a Gold Medal for brewing excellence (in modern history).

Over the past few years the brewery has spent millions of dollars improving the brewing process with a constant eye on making the very best beer.  This focus on quality has been recognized by the achievement of ISO quality certification standard ISO-9001, the highest level of excellence necessary from the brewing industry set forth by the most respected quality assurance program in the world. In 1994, Pacific Western became the first North American brewery to achieve ISO certification. Every step of our brewing and packaging is certified the standard ISO 9001 certified.
